Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds just 5 miles from Cheltenham is Ian Coley Shooting School - opened in 1987 - and the impressive Shooting Lodge completed in 1991. In early 2011 the Ian Coley Shooting School had a major refit and today the shooting school houses Ian Coley Gunshop and Sporting Agency.
The shooting school caters for both the game and clay shooter and has a range of testing game stands including a 120' Tower and a Grouse Butt. The clay facilities include a Double Trap range, which was one of the training ranges used by Olympic Gold Medallist Richard Faulds, whom Ian coaches, in the lead up to Sydney 2000.
Current successes include Gold Medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in India for Steve Walton and Steve Scott, both coached by Ian and frequently seen training at the school. The Shooting School is the ideal place for both the new and the established game shot, but it also caters for both juniors and ladies.
For those looking for an exciting venue for Corporate Hospitality then Ian Coley Shooting School is within easy reach of Birmingham, Bristol and London. Watch out for Ian Coley Tuition Tips and Ground Reviews on Ian Coley TV. Take a look at our Top Tips page
Today the Shooting School is seen as one of the Top 10 Shooting Schools in the UK with top class facilities and continued investment meaning the ground continues to offer a one-stop solution for all shooters. The facilities lend themselves to those looking to try clay shooting or to those with Olympic ambitions.
