Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer affecting men in the UK, with 1 in 8 men diagnosed in their lifetime and over 52,000 new cases every year. Sadly, it is a disease that has touched many within our own community. Across the shooting world, we know club members, regular shooters and friends who have been affected – whether through diagnosis, treatment, or supporting loved ones. That personal connection is why this cause means so much to us.
By supporting Prostate Cancer UK, we are helping to fund life-changing research, from improving early diagnosis through trials to developing kinder, more effective treatments. We are also helping to provide vital services such as specialist nurses and awareness initiatives, including the charity’s 30-second Risk Checker, which is already helping millions of men understand their risk and seek help earlier.
