We are proud to be one of the UK’s leading shooting grounds – and CPSA Ground of the Year 2025! Our ever-expanding layout features 25+ shooting stands, each with a minimum of two traps, plus three impressive High Towers reaching up to 120ft and two permanent Sportrap layouts.
Set mostly within mature woodland, our gravel pathways guide you around the course, with a range of covered stands so you can enjoy shooting whatever the weather. After your round, relax in our welcoming clubhouse and soak up the Cotswold charm.
From starter stands to technical targets, you’ll find a huge variety including driven, going away, teals, quartering, crossers, rabbits, overheads, loopers, battues, standards, midis and more. We regularly change targets to keep things fresh, while retaining a few signature stands that shooters love to experience.
The ground is open for individual practice with self-timer release clay traps, tuition with our friendly, fully qualified coaches, or to try a gun from our Gun Shop. We’re also the perfect venue for corporate events and stag or hen parties.
Throughout the year, we host competitions and events including Ladies Days and Young Shots – check our Events page for details.

Don't take our word for it - here's what people have to say about us
This establishment has everything that the shotgun enthusiast could want. Facilities include over 20 shooting positions, dry paths between positions, easy parking and a well equipped gun shop. Tuition is available for the absolute beginner to improvers and seasoned shots. All tuition is provided by expert instructors. The action is all self contained and clays are released by a card arrangement that not only releases the clays but totals up the number used. There are generally two clay positions at every stand with options to release either clay independently or both together. A great day out. Very difficult to suggest any way to improve this set up. Top rate. ~ TripAdvisor
The grounds at Coley's are very attractive with trees, small valleys and some open ground all used to make the targets more "interesting". The ground staff are very skilled indeed at setting up the traps, using the terrain to deceive the unwary shooter! With something like 20 Sporting stands to choose from there is a wide variety to choose from. The remote controlled traps have time delays as an option should you ever fancy some practice on your own. ~ TripAdvisor
