Welcome to the Ultimate Simulated Game Shooting Experience!
Are you looking for an exhilarating and challenging day out? Look no further!
Put your accuracy, precision and reflexes to the test, as you take aim at fast-flying clay targets that mimic the flight patterns of various game birds. It's the closest you can get to real game shooting without actually being in the field.
What is a Simulated Game Day?
A simulated game day is a full‑day clay shooting experience that replicates the excitement, pace and variety of a traditional driven game shoot — but using clay targets instead of live quarry. Designed to mirror a real day in the field, simulated game shooting offers high, fast and challenging clays presented in drives that emulate pheasant, partridge and other classic game targets.
Who are our Simulated Game Days Designed for?
Our simulated game days are designed for more experienced shots. They’re perfect for teams of friends, corporate groups and experienced shots, a simulated game day delivers all the enjoyment of game shooting outside of the main season, without the need for a gun dog, large bag or team of beaters. It’s an opportunity to challenge your shooting abilities and indulge in a day filled with excitement and camaraderie.

WINCHCOMBE VALLEY
A Private Estate in the Heart of the Cotswolds

We are delighted to be able to offer simulated clay days at a wonderful private estate in the heart of the Cotswold. The topography of the ground lends itself to showing a good variety of clays, from simulated grouse and partridges to high pheasants with the odd species of vermin thrown in for good measure. The estate has some wonderful views and many of the drives that are shot are the same as those shot during the shooting season.
–
The day revolves around The Grumpy Dragon, the estates private pub with wonderful outdoor seating for balmy days or indoors if the weather is being decidedly British!
The days are suited to a team of 16 guns, sharing 8 pegs per drive with bacon rolls, breakfast muffins, coffee & tea on arrival.
Transport is provided in a very comfortable and roomy gun bus, so no need for 4x4s. The day will consist of 4 varied drives, including a team competition, with the usual elevenses after the second, though refreshments will be available throughout the day. A delicious two course lunch with drinks and wine will be served at The Grumpy Dragon after the final drive.
The ethos of the day is to enjoy an entertaining day out with friends on a beautifully kept Cotswold Estate and can be tailored to the team, guns should expect to fire 400 plus cartridges during the day depending on their appetite.
–
The price per gun is £375 inclusive of VAT based on 16 guns and includes all shooting, catering, drinks both in the field and at the shoot lodge throughout the day.
The price does not include cartridges (strictly fibre only), instructors, hire guns, gratuities and non-shooting guests. Cartridges, hire guns and instructors can be provided with prior notification.
