Beretta is certainly one of the best known and most successful shotgun brands in the world. The business was founded on the principles of industriousness and inventiveness. Traditional skills are combined with research, technological improvement and state-of-the-art manufacturing methods - driven by an attention to the needs of its customers.

An Italian company, passed down through 15 generations, with every generation bringing a new innovation to the business and its products. Incredibly, this historic brand has been active since the 1400s, with its work documented since 1526.

The Beretta family's vision and skills has seen the brand earn an international reputation for its high-tech content, performance, and of course the Italian style that sets its products apart from the competition.

Giuseppe Beretta (1840-1903) was the first to open up international horizons for the company. His son Pietro (1870-1957) then transformed the artisan business into a manufacturing concern, by introducing modern production techniques. Subsequently, Pietro's sons Giuseppe (1906-1993) and Carlo (1908-1984), built the firm into a multinational, achieving real success in the military and sporting sectors.

An estimated 90% of Beretta's production consists of sporting firearms. As much as 75% of them are exported, to around 100 different countries around the world. Their sporting shotguns have an unsurpassed record of achievement on the local, national and international competitive stage, not to mention at the Olympics.
