Ian Coley MBE and his Grandson, Haydn Coley (16) have both been selected to join the England Team for Clay Pigeon Shooting. They will be representing our country at the 2016 Home Countries International Tournament.
The two were chosen out of hundreds of applicants to take part in the Tournament. Ian will be competing in the senior competition, whilst his Grandson Hayden, will take part in the junior competition. Ian said “It is a great honour to be again picked for England. Especially as this year my Grandson Haydn has also been selected for the England Junior team.”
The Home Countries International Tournament will be taking place in Bambridge, Northern Ireland on 15th & 16th July, Where representatives from all across the United Kingdom will present their respective countries.
This is not the first time Ian has had the honour of having such an amazing opportunity. As he is a previous six times Olympic coach, Ian first shot for Great Britain in 1971, and since then has represented the country on over 200 occasions – either as a shooter, coach or team manager.
