A brilliant day of hands-on learning and behind-the-scenes insight, giving our team valuable new skills to bring back to the Gunroom.
Katherine and Molly from our Gunroom recently headed out for a hands-on training day at Anglo Italian – and what a day it turned out to be. Combining practical learning with behind-the-scenes access, the visit offered a brilliant opportunity to deepen brand knowledge, build technical confidence, and get stuck into the mechanics behind some of the industry’s most respected names.
Our visit to Anglo Italian was both a fun and incredibly informative experience. We had the chance to explore the full range of Caesar Guerini, Fabarm, and STE stocks that Anglo carries, giving us real insight into the quality and craftsmanship behind each brand. Seeing the guns and components up close made a huge difference, allowing us to properly understand the engineering and detail that goes into every build.
One of the standout moments of the day was getting to grips with the famous Caesar Guerini Invictus action. Designed with durability and longevity at its core, the Invictus system features replaceable wear components and a robust locking mechanism, making it ideal for high-volume shooters. It was particularly valuable to understand the thinking behind the design – and even better to learn how to correctly strip an action down and put it back together. Gaining that hands-on experience has given Katherine and Molly greater confidence when discussing servicing and long-term performance with customers.
The full warehouse tour was another highlight, offering insight into everything from basic servicing tips to common repairs and maintenance techniques. It was fascinating to see the level of care and attention that goes into looking after these guns properly, and reinforced just how important aftercare is in maintaining performance.
We also spent time focusing on STE stocks, which are growing in popularity thanks to their versatility and adjustability. Designed to offer a fully customisable fit, STE stocks allow shooters to fine-tune key elements such as comb height, cast, and length of pull. After the training, Katherine and Molly now feel confident not only explaining the benefits of these systems, but also setting them up correctly to suit individual shooters—something that will be invaluable back in the Gunroom.
