We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistants & FOH Team Members to join our vibrant team. This role includes mid-week & Saturday shifts. You will be assisting with food preparation, so food handling and cooking experience is advantageous but not essential. Barista experience is also a bonus! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our café runs smoothly and efficiently, providing exceptional service to our customers. Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of food and beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment.
- Support catering activities by preparing and serving food items for events as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in food preparation or catering is advantageous.
- Barista experience is advantageous however training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help colleagues as needed.
